Over the past ten months, as a student of the MA in Human Security and Peacebuilding program at Royal Roads University, I have been immersed in a world where global citizenship education, humanitarian development, and cultural understanding meet. My thesis explores the impact of international service learning on adolescent participants in Cambodia. Every effort is made to capture the experiences of the participants accurately, as they shared their perspectives through visual, written, and oral reflections. I provide ISL curricular recommendations in Chapter 5, guided by the findings of this study and current research in the field.
